Ryan Vasquez is an actor and creator based in New York City.

He has been featured in Broadway productions of THE NOTEBOOK (original Broadway cast), WICKED, WAITRESS (original Broadway cast) and HAMILTON, where he became the only actor to play all the roles of Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr, George Washington, Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, and Hercules Mulligan/James Madison on Broadway, after premiering the show in San Francisco and Los Angeles. He also originated the role of Man in Black in THE WRONG MAN at MCC Theater (directed by HAMILTON’s Thomas Kail with choreography by Emmy Award-winner Travis Wall), for which he received a Drama Desk Award nomination.

Ryan originated leading roles in the world premiere productions of THE OUTSIDERS (Tony Award winner, Best Musical), WATER FOR ELEPHANTS (Alliance Theater), THE NOTEBOOK (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), SCHMIGADOON! (The Kennedy Center), THE JANEIAD (The Old Globe), and MCC Theater’s WALK ON THROUGH: CONFESSIONS OF A MUSEUM NOVICE, created and written by Gavin Creel.

His work includes film and television roles in THE GOOD FIGHT (CBS), CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM (HBO), THE CODE (CBS), and the film adaptation of tick, tick… BOOM! (Netflix), directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, starring Andrew Garfield. Ryan’s voice has also been featured in films, including VIVO! and IN THE HEIGHTS.

The son of an educator, Ryan has also worked as a teacher at the elementary, pre-college, and university level. Proud Michigan Graduate.
